Back playing a bit of DS? I have played one mp character through the Abstraction map fairly recently and I was getting well over 200fps on a 1920x1200 resolution so the seefar setup should work pretty well with the current gpu's (once you add it to the system_detail.gas file). 20w.gif

Yup smile.gif

I've also modified system_detail.gas to include my card and play at 1680x1050.

But it's not really necessary, you can just edit manually DungeonSiege.ini and set whatever resolution you want if you don't mind the Warning message each time you start a game.

I've tried to play with the frustum but it did not end very well, unlike with Dungeon Siege 2 who happily accept easily a bigger frustum.

I was using the target line to add the height and width, and it would always give the error message when I ran at 1920x1200 on my main pc or at 1920x1080 on my tv screen on my htpc. They both ran fine after the error message.

I don't know if you have Vista but sp1 for Vista breaks DS/DSLoA so that it won't run, due to a cd check and I was able to use a cd crack to get it to work but without the cd crack I could find no way around it, not even the MS fix for a bunch of games and apps that sp1 broke. My htpc runs Vista and I didn't even know it was an issue for the first few months I had it as I don't normally run any regular type pc apps on it. Guild Wars ran fine but DS didn't. I suspect some other older games and apps would have issues as well on it. I mostly wanted to play some games on the big 46" lcd screen. laugh.gif

Yeah the target line did not work for me either.

For people who have no matching system_details.gas to their videocard and that do not want to deal with it, they can just just edit in "My Documents\DungeonSiege\DungeonSiege.ini" the following lines and replace the setting with the resolution they want:

width = 1680
height = 1050

They will however have a warning each time they create a game (when the game switch from the menu resolution to the playing resolution)
